We'll see how many bubbles burst today

  • #8 West Virginia vs. #9 Providence (1:00 P.M. ESPN)
  • #7 Georgetown vs. #10 Seton Hall (6:00 P.M. ESPN)

Big Sky

Two big upsets here, including top seed Portland State(177), but nothing that should impact the overall Picture. Portland State was a projected 16 seed anyway.

#3 seed Montana(168) plays Weber State tonight (8:00 P.M. ESPN2) for the automatic bid.

Tournament kicks off tomorrow at 11 A.M.

None of the top seeds are in action until Friday's Semifinals.

But UC-Irvine is playing Idaho and Long Beach State is playing Jim Rome's alma mater, UC-Santa Barbara today.

Top seed Utah and Player of the year candidate Andrew Bogut kick the tournament off tomorrow. They take on Colorado State

No tournament news until tomorrow, but Arizona State's Ike Diogu was named player of the year.


Championship: Bucknell vs. Holy Cross Friday


South Carolina and Ole Miss tip off the festivities tomorrow.


#5 Lamar upset #4 UT-San Antonio and now face #1 Northwestern State. #3 Sam Houston State takes on #2 Southeast Louisiana, who mercilessly beat #7 Texas State in their opener.
Both semifinals are tomorrow. No TV.
